Financial freedom doesn’t mean having a million in the bank.
For me, it is not having to worry about putting my hand in my pocket to make any kind of purchase.
It’s not the amount of cash in the bank that makes that possible.
It’s knowing you have a predictable source of income that meets your number.
What’s your number?
Is it 5k, 10k, or 25k per month?
Everyone has a number that means they don’t have to overthink about putting their hand in their pocket.
You don’t need to be a millionaire to have a millionaire lifestyle.
You only need a predictable way to generate business.
Now, a lot of our business is created by connecting with potential customers who want to grow their business, generate more leads, or reach the next level.
That is why I love the way we do our strategy sessions based around a 9-step deal maker framework we created and use in a lot of our training programs.
Now, I am not going to go in depth into that specific framework as that's not the point of this article. So, let’s go beyond that. When you can become a good communicator people sit up and pay attention.
The main point here is to have a guided conversations and in many ways, recreate the lost art of communication.
The aim of these conversations is very simple, we want to quickly identify if the person we are talking to is someone we want to work with and these conversations act as a filter.
You will see very quickly if you want to continue having that conversation, or not, as the case may be.
If the prospect is someone we are not going to do business with and they don't pass our filtering process, we cut the call short, and point them in the right direction.
This does two critical things. First it frees up more time to focus only on those that we want to work with and does not waste their time.
Secondly, it allows us to focus on getting close to that "Freedom Number" because we are much more efficient on profitable conversations.
It can go as fast or as slow as needed, depending on how you have it.
Via Tweet. Facebook. YouTube. Email. Or even face to face.
Now I know you are going to resist trying. Trust me. It’s as simple as asking a question.
"Tell me about xxx?"
"Bring me up to speed with where you're at?"
Then dig deeper.
"That’s interesting. Tell me more."
It works everywhere and not only in business.
When you take an interest, you become interesting.
